I posted the card on this site a few days ago, and I have been receiving message after message saying "how much?"

I am a serious seller looking to sell this card to a serious buyer. Asking "How much?" does not seem to me like a serious buyer, only someone who is just nosey.

I just finished up replying to all of my messages.
The card is absolutely still available.
I wish for it to go to a good home.

Thanks

it could be argued that without a price listed that the seller may not appear serious....asking how much a card is doesnt really exclude the possibility that the buyer is serious...plus when you dont list a price , you shoudl expect people asking you 'how much'...

I have noticed that more items sell on B/S/T that have a posted price versus the ones that dont....

(i never did hear back about the price..)

Just got back a reply, he's looking to sell for the "highest price, of course". Most people want to sell their cards at the lowest price possible so this baffles me. I told him to set a price or it won't sell. Fishing should be done on the lakes, not on the BST

That's just hilarious and wrong, all at the same time! I just bought a T3 CY Young PSA 1, is that helpful at all?

here it comes again.... :

"Ill just keep it"

Please see all my posts where i ask when people say 'ill just keep it' does that mean they really dont want to sell it at market value.......and my example is this thread....not me begging to get a card out of someone's personal collection.....

well he hasnt said it yet..but we are waiting......

I traded for this card last month. It is a PSA 3. I got it from a very fair seller. We put the value in the $1400-$1600 range. Doesn't answer the question but gives an idea.

I was a serious buyer. I made an offer. You're response was: "You can't be a serious collector."

Your definition of "serious" is someone who will pay an unrealistic price for this card. You've got to understand. A lot of collectors here actually know what this card is worth. We have cards like this already.

Furthermore, I asked politely for your name while corresponding. You refused to provide it. Why?

The problem here is that you have no idea what you're doing. Figure it out and stop insulting people.

Robert

Seriously. This is exactly going to be like the Lenox back Cobb thread. If you want to be taken serious set a serious price. How much do you need out of the card? That is not a difficult question. HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED TO GET FOR THE CARD? Serious collectors ask that question all the time. You are wasting everyone's time.
