Because now, more than likely, he is going to have a black mark by his name and no one will want to deal with him. In this business, especially when you do not deal with people face to face, and only though the computer, your reputation means more than anything. I don't get what you are saying at all. It's a problem completely of his own making. He should have a black mark by his name, he reneged on a done deal. If he wants the black mark erased, he can do the right thing, acknowledge that he made the wrong judgment, and honor the deal.

Yes, and I feel badly for the victim here, not the perpetrator. What's the downside to doing the right thing, being temporarily without a 51 Mantle? I've been looking for months for the right one and I'm fine.

I feel badly for him as well...maybe next time he won't sell his card until he has the replacement in hand. Like I said, BOTH people can learn something from this transaction.
