This may be 1903, but is more likely 1904. It was taken in Portland at Vaughn Street Park (aka at that time Recreation Park).
The photo shows a PCL game between Portland and Los Angeles. I believe Los Angeles is at bat. See the link below for more material of this era, including major league.

This baby arrived today from a private collector with a good eye who is liquidating his collection. So pleased to finally find this well-centered!
