I saw that listed on Ebay for some time, I came to the belief that it is just a desk set with an initial for the owner.
Here is a link with all of the logos used by the Tigers and this one just does not really come close to any. The floating post on the outside and the short second inside post on the D, are not something that you see on any of these logos. http://www.sportslogos.net/logos/list_by_team/59
