Personally I find the story behind the Doyle N.Y. National card more interesting
than the Wagner. There are only 6-8 of them known so this is the card that keeps most people that own a Wagner from completing the 524 card set. It's even hard to find good scans of the known examples, the Pelaez and Conlon Doyle N.Y. Nationals both have the same mark on the backs, this same mark can be found on some of the Doyle N.Y. cards indicating the they were in the same sheet position after the Nat'l was removed. |
