Nice Tinkers Rob!! I'm hoping to track down a green Payne to go with my blue one. May take a little while, but will be worth the wait.

Payne is a harder card to find, but you'll find one.

I sold one at the national this year.

Here is an interesting Schulte with a drastic color shift. It seems that many cards from this set have very poor registration, although I've never seen one quite this far off. I really enjoy the set, by the way. I completed it a few years ago and it remains one of my favorites.

Hey Marc,

Hope you're well.

My one and only, which has been in that plastic page for 20+ years. I think I paid $10 or $15 for it.

Hi Rob! That Chance is almost certainly from the same sheet as mine. I've been following this set pretty closely for several years and that's the only other one I've seen with that huge color shift. Great card! It seems that quality control was not a huge priority with the printing of this set. Given the limited subject group and the scarcity of all the cards, it may have been something of a quickly produced afterthought.

Here's a few of the oddities I own from this set....

Archer, Payne and Dougherty color variations and a Blackburne that is off-register.

On the poll, I put myself down as "actively collecting". I think I still have about 7-8 e90-3s total. Not really trying to finish the set but I do keep an eye out for the goofs. Given that this is one of the "dirtier" caramel sets out there, you do see printing flubs crop up from time to time.
