Jeff, I found a GG issue with that same picture of Nagurski in what looks to me like a powder blue jersey and its captioned as a 1938 Dixie Lid premium. Guessing you got those by sending in lids? Any theory on the jersey color that doesn't match one I recall he would have worn?
Mike, the one photo you posted reminded me of what I'm sure is an oft repeated (possibly apocryphal?) story.... They asked one of Bronko's customers whether he had the best gas in town and the woman replied he didn't, so the follow up question was why do you keep coming back?
