I have had for many years this fascinating 1934 “Dizzy/Daffy” school project covering the 1934 World Series. It’s about a 150 page write up and scrapbook covering the ’34 series. The cover art is all hand drawn and quite spectacular for the hand of student. The first 25 pages are a typed account of the history of the WS, and then a detailed account of the 1934 Series, including detailed stats that go so far as covering the $ receipts of each game and shares. The remaining 100 or so pages are filled with articles and news clipping of the series.
The student got an “S+” for the assignment. Pretty impressive and you could tell this student was passionate on the subject. Given the quality and content I am guess it was a High School project – I wish I could have done that in HS.  20150806_200316.jpg
