Hi, a fellow NET54-er just asked why does the the Ticket itself say Game 2, but the PSA holder says its for Game 4.
Prior to 1920 most World Series Tickets are numbered like that, the NL & AL would each number their tickets Games 1,2,3,4, so you could see a ticket that has Game 1 on both an NL and an AL stub. So while it says Game 2 on it, it is Game 2 AT EBBETS FIELD, the 1st 2 games were played in Boston. This is Game 4 (or Game 2 at Ebbets). |
