I remember watching him when he wrestled on the West Coast in the 70's, and in the 80's was involved in some great feuds, including one with Greg Valentine that culminated in the famous dog collar match, in which one of them busted an eardrum.
As a wrestler, his best move was a thumb to the eye. On the mic, however, top 3 of all time. RIP |

Piper was my favorite wrestler as a kid.I'll never forget him smashing Snuka in the head with a coconut on Pipers pit. RIP Hot Rod

I dragged two friends to see that movie. They never let me live it down. I enjoyed it, so, oh well. That fight scene in the parking lot was epic.
