Updating this thread with some items from the last 3 months.

Added the orange border Cool Papa Bell card and the Chicago Tribune archive wire photo from which the card was made. The orange border card appears to have a good signature as well.

An interesting, if perverse comment is made by Bell as to why the Cubs traded Lou Brock in 1964 in the commentary on the back of the card.

I got a couple more items scanned, and have nothing more to add for a while.

Here is a 1979 Topps 9 card panel, and a signed Hostess panel, also signed (maybe???) by Mickey Rivers and Graig Nettles, complete with Cert so they must all be good - right????? In addition there is a Paul Reuschal front/Lou Brock back 79 Topps and a 78 Kelloggs proof with blank back slabbed by Beckett.

I'm going to meet Lou this weekend at a local card show. Looking forward to it.

My favorite recent pickup is the '78 BB Kellogg's; very cool. Of course you can't go wrong w/a panel w/Brock in the middle....

Cool, I've never met him.

I did get to meet Al Hrabosky , The Mad Hungarian once when I was a kid at a mall signing in Peoria, Illinois.

He was nice as could be, I was expecting a grouchy, mean guy who snarled at people.
