He didn't donate a thing to museums. Everything was sold.

Guess I wouldn't have thought of Hefner's House of Babes as a collection, but it is. He trades for what he sees as upgrades and when something isn't the shiny new thing everyone thought would be the hot new thing any more, he trades for something new.

I have had the privilege of Seeing Marshall Fogel's collection and not only is it cover everything (cards, memorabilia, photo's etc...) it is quite literally the best of the best. Most everything's condition is near mint as well as being extremely rare. Books and books of photo, bats, gloves, pennants, ads etc... He also collects native American artifacts and that collection in it self is quite amazing as well. He was a great host and was very gracious to allow me to sit on his floor and go through his collection. A true gentleman

In alpha sequence:
Mark Macrae Dan Mckee John Rumierz I would have included Leon's collection, but I have seen it online (Leon has made it available to us Net54ers for a long time) plus I now have the Heritage auction catalog (a keeper!). Val |
