Because by the end of the year, Bryant will have about 6 RC auto superfractors and the value will be watered down, IMO.
It might be "priced" at that level, but whether it is actually "worth" anywhere remotely near that sum will not be determined for about 15 years. Great idea to sell--you don't want to be left standing when the music stops!

Best of luck on cashing in--your timing is right on!

Sell it now before it's worth $1 in a few years.

I am wondering what we will all do with our cards when the music stops.....as the music will stop eventually on 95% of the cards in the hobby

(incidentally I don't really count autograph cards as just cards)

Sure it will--just like coin collecting, once the hobby of ancient kings, and now seeing the best of the best items venturing well into seven-figure territory in the past few years. As long as there is baseball, and interest in it as well as its past (and baseball excels in this area far above any other sport), there will be value to baseball cards, with the latter being in direct proportion to three factors: (1) rarity/scarcity; (2) significance; and (3) condition.

Given the above, the music won't be stopping in your lifetime, Jake.
