Both arrived in June, but been swamped of late, so haven't been on board much. Psyched to add this Wags from a board member (thanks Paul!). Been wanting the E90-1 ever since my mobile eBay locked up, preventing a last second snipe a few years ago.

Been watching the Matty and couldn't pass on this auction go round, which timed well with a 4x bid bucks promotion.

Nice pick ups Ian. Great eye appeal on both. I still haven't been able to figure out PSA and their usage of those Mylar sleeves. That Wagner doesn't look like it needs one yet they used it anyway.

Thanks for the comments guys and beautiful Matty Paul, congrats on finding a nice one! Oddly, I eyed and eventually bought mine in anticipation of trading you my SGC40. Seems we both made out OK in the end.

Yes it does. I really wasn't planning on going after one so nice yet but you only live once. Right?? Plus, I haven't seen a matty portrait this nice up for auction in a couple of years.

Nice Clymer Sean (and nice pickups everyone else).

That card is interesting to me because it shows that there were two shades of blue applied to darken it up. I always assumed that the dark blue cards were 1 blue layer and 1 gray layer. Yet further evidence that the six-color litho process really had more layers - off the top of my head I know gray, as seen in some ghosts, rose as I have seen in color shifts and missing red cards, and now apparently a second layer of blue on some (unless this card was just run through on the blue run twice by mistake).
