What I remember about the Taste-freeze figures is my local stand you had to buy a certain sundae to get the figure and from I remember they just handed it to you.
I would always ask for a mantle but they usually just had the common players. If I ever got a Mantle I don't remember it, but I do remember getting a Berra once.
Never saw any non-sport figures.

Picked up this Brooksie off ebay last night 12 dollars and change, can't beat that.
