I agree, let's appreciate what we got And in a great trivia note: IIRC -- Doerr was in Goudey, Play Ball, Leaf, Topps and Bowman as a player. He is the only player to pull off that feat

My heart skipped a beat when I say this thread just now - just this very morning I finished writing the description story for a 1943 Bobby Doerr game used and signed bat for Goldin Auction's next catalog. I was afraid to read he passed away or something, and now I'm relieved to read that it is a thread on how he's still here.
