I picked up this one photograph and was happy with the price. Adam I was the under bidder on the Dempsey with robe photo. I assumed you would be the winner.

Excellent Satch, Mike!

I also liked the other poster's Roberto Clemente. It's a dandy!

I already have one, Mike, an original Apeda double-weight that is not trimmed:

I try really hard only to purchase untrimmed photos. To me they're art and cutting them down is like cutting down the borders of a fine art print. I understand that sometimes you have no choice other than to take what is available; fortunately, in this case I did.

Now I know who got the Marilyns and the Tippi Hedren. Congrats, guys, nice photos.
I was high bidder on a Harlow, a Hithcock, Lennon and Yoko, Abbott and Costello, and an Einstein, quite a mix.

Anyone win the Sex Pistols photo? Got outbid on that one, too.

I was also in on the sex pistols, I also bowed out late. More interest than I thought it would generate.

All the rock stuff went for more than I expected. I was actually wondering whether the opens were too high on them. There's just so much reprinted stuff out there that when there is good news archive data on the backs they seem to bring a premium.
