So sorry for your loss Steve. I have two daughters and two stepsons and cannot fathom losing any of them. A parent should never have to bury their child. Organ donation is a noble cause that more of us should take up. Stop back here often as the folks here are a great source of comfort.

I am so sorry for your loss. As I read this, the thought of losing my 10 or 13 year old sons is crushing. I can't imagine. I will pray for peace for you and for fond memories. May God be your strength today and all your days.
Eric

Ugh. That is heart-wrenching. As stated, there is no greater tragedy than a parent burying their kid. My thoughts are with you and your family. Considering the circumstances, you have a great outlook....your son's passing has given immeasurable joy to several other families and that should not be taken lightly. For that, he is a hero. God bless.

So sorry. I know you must be overwhelmed and exhausted. Get rest. It is important. We are all thinking of you.

There really are no words for this kind of tragedy.
Steve, my deepest sympathies to you and your family.
The one consolation is that your son's selfless gift earned him a special place in heaven.

Steve, I didn't see my post after submitting it, and think it important enough to post once more--he IS in a better place--my faith guarantees this is so. May God heal your hurt and know this: you WILL see him again, when it matters, and our time here is short as we travel down eternity's road.

May God's blessings follow you all the days of your life!

Larry

Steve- I was so moved by your son's tribute to his brother. I hope that all board members read it and, if they have not already, become organ donors.

Pay it Forward
