The La Morena cards have been known longer and in my experience are somewhat easier to find than the Sociedade cards. The checklists are the same as far as I can tell. Other than the shared checklist there is no indication I am aware of that the manufacturers were the same or which came first. Many of the Sociedade cards in collections today originated with Portuguese sellers, which makes sense since one of Portugal's colonies was Angola and the language on the cards is Portuguese. I have never seen one offered by a seller in Angola; for that matter I've never seen a La Morena offered by a seller from El Salvador, either.
