Bartell was only on the Cubs in 1939, so this likely a 1939 team signed ball for the Cubs. If you post a picture you will likely get some opinions as to authenticity. You could do a Google search for 1939 Cubs team signed ball and see what you get. Value depends on darkness and cleanliness of signatures, condition of the ball, and if the key signatures are genuine or "clubhouse" (signed by clubhouse employee as opposed to the player) versions.
Off the top of my head, I would say value, if sigs and ball are relatively strong and all are genuine, to be in the $250-300 range. Tom C |
