Chuck: Only card I've ever submitted for a re-grade. I've seen 2's that were roadkill and thought this beauty deserved better. SGC gave it a wee bump.

Not a card but RobSteinmetz has Dave Kingman's "Babe Ruth Crown", given to him in 1980 in honor of his amazing offensive season in 1979 with the Cubs. Absolutely awesome!

To many great cards to choose from so maybe the best option would be one
of these. |

![]() Funny how you bring that up about Ty Cobb. There was a special insert in my Atlanta Newspaper on Ty Cobb. Back in his early days playing for Royston Reds. It had a nice pic of him with 4 kids showing he was born in Northeast Georgia where he got his start. Then there was another team photo in the 1890's where he looked very young, much like that one posted here. ** I will see to scan those photos and the reading material for ya guys. Or maybe you can see it in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution dated Sunday May 17th. It was in the E-section called Living & Arts. UPDATE with some PICS from newspaper: [IMG] ![]() http://s1240.photobucket.com/user/ky...w7n3m.jpg.html [IMG] ![]()

Since Kevin is taking one of mine, it is only fair that I take Corey's Creighton Peck and Snyder.

Short of cards worth as much as a house, I would take one of Leon's cards that i will share after I don't win it. In second place would be the T213-1 Matty dark cap - I would happily take either Ted Z's or Dean H.'s (hi fellas, still love your cards).

EASY call for me - a 1952 Topps Reiser grey back. Assuming that whoever owns one of the three known ones is a member of this board that is!

Ken - I considered a 1923 W572 Rapp or Barbare - but the Reiser is higher on the priority list!
