That's good, I also think they look good, in general. I think it's the story behind the collection that might be superfluous. In my opinion, the items were either obtained in person at chance meetings such as ballpark, restaurants or the collection was bought and assembled piece by piece by an original owner.

Also, the main board is not really the place to promote an auction house consignment. The story behind the find is interesting but I think there was already an appropriately posted thread about that on the main board. This is strictly a plug for the auction house consignment, even more so with the inclusion of the Allen & Ginter cards to be included in the same auction.

Default Clarification....

Phil,

Just wanted to clarify on something you mentioned. The collection of M114s that there was discussion on about mailing and folds etc... is NOT this group. That group you mentioned were sold privately on the BST boards about a month ago and they were personalized to a different person.

That thread is here for reference: http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...highlight=m114

What I find amazing is that there were 2 M114 signed original collections to surface this year. Crazy stuff!

Peace, Mike

Generally speaking you are correct Phil, however, this is a paid advertisement thread and this is the appropriate place for it. Grant (hi Grant) has asked me about posting every step of the way. thanks

My mistake then, Mike. I thought it was the same group that we were talking about. That's also why I had the issue with the initial discussion thread and then the current thread, whose purpose was clearly to promote the items in an auction. Makes sense now, my apologizes to everyone.
