Correct - pretty amazing debuts. Seems like Luis Tiant may have had something close to that in his debut...I'll have to look it up. Tiant, of course, along with Minnie Minoso, should also be Hall-of-Famers! Before rose, before bonds, and before clemens!

When THIS player ended his career, he was third in most games played in centerfield (National League). Google if you must, but more fun if you don't.

There may be other correct answers to this question because everyone retires at a different time, but George may well be the first correct answer, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Yes, Curt Flood is my solution to this quiz. Although Gore may be accurate as well. I wouldn't know, but I'll take Frank's word for it - after all, he's almost old enough to have his picture on a Old Judge card
