I love the set, but unfortunately don't love a lot of the cards in it. There are a bunch of cards that are an action shot, but the artwork is too close-up and it just looks weird. Marquard throwing, Jacklitsch, Baker, Fletcher, Kisinger, Young bare hand, Lattimore, Engle, Becker, Purtell, McCormick, Bender no trees to name a few.

I also think they got lazy in the 350 series and starting using single color backgrounds, and those cards kind of stand out to me compared to the background detail from the 150 series.

Some of those I'll def agree with but I actually like the Engle. Purtell sucks I think the Bender trees and no trees is nothing special.

Because of this card, not only can I not ever, in good taste, complete my desired group of 'affordable' T206 left-handed pitchers, but I can't watch Ghost Busters again without thinking of him.

DAMN YOU, FRED BURCHELL!!!

Unfortunately for me I just won his card in the Sterling auction to be my first and only EDPG back haha.

Funny comparison.

Oh my God, Raymond. LOL. When I saw this topic, the card I immediately thought of was Burchell, and my first thought was "he's awfully doughy. He looks like he's made out of marshmallow, like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!

"Subcreatures! Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar, The Traveller has come. Choose and perish!!!"

"The choice is made. The Traveler has come!"

You hit it on the head. Put me down for Mr. Stay Puft, Fred Burchell.

+ 1 for the dough boy
Mr. Lennox has been added to the list.

I agree Bill that was a hilarious observation about Burchell very clever and funny.

Shannon. He was dead and mummified for 200 years before being posed for that card.

And why did they dislocate his shoulder while posing him??
