Unfortunately, Etsy may not be Etsy much longer.
I saw this past week that they are planning on going public soon. If the same thing happens to them that happened to Ebay (GREED) then I fear people will be talking about "the good ole days" of Etsy very soon....... David |

The good old days of Etsy being a well kept secret are no longer...I used to get great stuff there really cheap because it was mostly filled with people who made crafty stuff and occasionally sold other items. I once bought a baseball glove there for $20 and sold it for $500....I also bought a Quisp mailaway flying saucer for $13 and sold it for $300. The seller unfortunately wrecked the original shipping box by sending it to me in the same box she got it in when she was a kid.
Now the place is filled with discontented ebayers and it's starting to fill up with the same high priced junk you used to see in every ebay search. I just went and looked at my profile for the first time in almost two years....looks like feedback is gone, but you can still see every item you've ever purchased which is pretty cool. I'm a big supporter of ebid.net
$50 gets you a lifetime of zero fees (for the most part) http://royce-classic-vintage-cards.ebid.net |
