1987 topps terry Forster is a tough one to find also for some reason it's hard to find a 1981 topps traded Fernando Valenzuela and I have never seen a 1955 topps Jackie Robinson signed either.

57 Topps has afew tough commons as well, Duke Maas being one and isn't another Don Bessent?
And Bam Bam, I once had a 1955 T Jackie Robinson signed and at the time I think there were several in the psa dna registry.

There is a long time Dodger staffer than has an incredible collection of signed cards, including multiples of '55 Topps Jackie Robinson.

I would say his handwriting is not terrible if he did indeed leave school after 6th grade...




For Red Sox players, Kinder and Vern Stephens (already mentioned) are very tough....Tony Conigliaro is fairly tough to come by even though he passed less than 30 years ago. I would imagine the toughest Red Sox (50's onward) to get would be Harry Agganis, who died in his second professional season in 55' from a pulmonary embolism. PSA's website shows 1 out there...


When I saw the title I thought of a couple guys who died during their career, Lyman Bostock and Walt Bond. Bostock seems to have a handful on eBay so he's not as rare as I'd expect. Other toughies I'd imagine are: Danny Frisella, Herman Hill, Ken Hubbs, Mike Miley, Bob Moose, Chico Ruiz, Jim Umbricht, Don Wilson, etc...
