The original is black and white. Any coloring would have been done after publication and by hand. The value would be individual collector preference, the ones I know preferring original, but, if done well, the color can be nice.(if done poorly, or inaccurately, the value would be substantially reduced) I believe a company still does these. It used to be you could get these on spec, and pay for them when sold, not sure what the current deal is, if any.
