Finally finished a small subset project. Thanks to Andy N. for this Jack Lapp T222 Fatima card.
I now have the 4 "catching pose" cards in the set: Archer, Lapp, McLean, and Schang. All 4 present well! Patrick |

Patrick, what about John Henry, the Washington Senators catcher? I believe he is one of the toughest T222 short prints to obtain. Here's the link to the OC web site where you can see a pic of this card: http://www.oldcardboard.com/t/t222/t222gal.asp

Hi Val,
John Henry split time between catching and 1st base. His T222 looks like he has a smaller 1st basemen's mitt on to me. Patrick |

Patrick, I wasn't aware that Henry ever played 1st base. But, I just now checked baseball-reference.com, and I see that he played both positions during the first 2 years (1910 & 1911) of his MLB career, and catcher only during his last 7 years (including 1914, the year the T222s were issued). Re Henry's T222 card, I think he is holding a catcher's mitt, but have no expertise re vintage mitts. BTW, nice accomplishment!!
