It certainly looked like Dez caught that ball to me. In fairness, though, the refs did help the Cowgirls get to this round in the first place.

Maybe if Dez didn't march out into the field without his helmet to argue with the zebras last week, they would have ruled differently on his one-handed snag this past weekend.

Not singling you out, Peter. I actually have quite a bit of respect for you and think your opinions are sound. But, since you mentioned the Dallas loss...

I am an Eagles fan. And we have quite the rivalry going with Dallas. Last year, we knocked the Cowgirls out of the playoffs. This year, 10-6 wasn't good enough, and we are on the outside, looking in.

Oh well. The next best thing to an Eagles playoff win is a Dallas playoff loss.

And, for the record, let me get back on topic. My picks for the Conference Championships are as follows:

Seattle
Indianapolis

Best regards,

Eric

It sure looked to me like he made an effort to move the ball over the goal line, and when he did that, the ground caused a fumble which he quickly recovered. If the issue was did he have control of the ball, well, if he didn't, how could he deliberately try to stick it over the goal line? The standard for reversal of a call on the field is undisputed evidence showing it was wrong. No way.

Shame that a game comes down to that.

Are you going?

I will wait and vote the exact opposite of Ian. Ian - please pick Green Bay and Indianapolis.

Ha Scott! I've already picked... exactly opposite of your wants.

That said, I'm happy if A Rodgers can make me wrong, and defy the odds and his balky calf next week to orchestrate the upset.

Properly called, terrible rule.

Catch rule should just go back to 2 feet, or one elbow, or one knee, or butt down= catch.. that would eliminate all this garbage and leave little, no room for this interpretation and 2nd guessing.
