OK...I'll play. A quick search on google for "Ruth book" and "Gehrig book" yielded me a few. I will start there as they(Ruth and Gehrig) are the clear focus and meat and potatoes of my collection. MMmmmmm meat and potatoes...
Some of the photo selections on many of these books amaze me. Not in a good way. The one where the burke dodgers image was chosen but "they" "photo shopped"a yankee cap.. really?? Out of all the great images.. you needed to do that? Also.. some of the books that came up were of images I wouldn't even think to put on a cover. I wonder if there were chosen out of bad taste or trademark stuff dictated. Magazine covers would be another great topic/thread. Anyways, here are some I found quick and yes.. my taste is the best.

Bahaha.. That is a "decent" one you found.. certainly a wonderful single shot by van oeyen. Def would not kick it out of bed for eating potato chips! Very nice! Love it!
