Again, I think it's an awesome project. I wouldn't worry about the $. No one is going to pull up in front of your house and ask for $10,000
it'll probably be 10-20-100 chunks most of the time. I built a T206 set which i am reasonably sure set me back every bit as much and it was a marvelous journey. Unlike my lowish-grade set, of which I suspect more that 300 exist, I am pretty sure you'll be the only guy with a 1983 set like that.
