Great list! So far I only have a few issues from 1979-1980.. Plan on slowly building my collection up and this list is very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

Default Great list!

Thank you for posting this list. I too am slowly working my way through collecting past issues for reference primarily. For anyone who has a number of issues already, how do you store these? I want to refer to them periodically but they just don't go easily on the bookshelf, nor are they of great reference value if packed away in individual magazine bags/backers. Any thoughts?

I have all mine chronologically on a bookshelf in my home office, with a Baseball Encyclopedia (any hefty book will do obviously) on each end to make for an upright but not too tight fit. I do this with my collections of The Wrapper and Baseball Cards magazine as well. That way I can pull issues easily to read. It does take a bit of space but they are accessible.

Leon, those first four issues are extremely difficult and I only have photocopies of #1 and #4 as you know; the first might be the easiest from that group in actuality. My "actual" run picks up in March of 1969 and I believe that issue saw an uptick in distribution. I believe the SCD insert issues are also difficult.

I have only 1 issue, Issue #8, June 1969. I think the earlier issues are quite scarce. Am I wrong??
