Default Another opinion of Dolloff

I stopped into Dolloff's shop several times in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His shop was on Route 1.

I had seen his ads in SCD. The several times I stopped into his shop, he couldn't take the time to show me anything.

He dismissed me as some young kid that he couldn't be bothered with, because he figured I couldn't afford to buy any of his overpriced cards.

Happy to say I never bought anything from him.

Built most of my E95 set from Dolloff, one at a time.
Ordered several M101-4s from them as well.

I met Dick Dolloff in the early 80's He was a coin dealer who got into cards and really didnt like talking shop like many other coin dealers. But he did have great stuff. Dick is a old time dealer who really doesnt do shows etc. anymore. The last 10-15 years have passed by many old timers.

On the wall of Dolloff's store he had a sign where what he would charge people to answer questions about his items. It seemed a good way to scare off customers. It worked on me.
