You said it, that's a fantastic 2! One of my favorite T206s. Nice pickup!

Love that Gehrig exhibit Jim, great early image of Sweet Lou. Nice exhibits all around, that Cobb is no slouch either!

Thanks Trey. I'm thinking that these tougher dark tints may have been made in Canada even though they have "made in USA" on the back.

Phil, a big congratulations on your first Cobb. Both of those cards a really nice. The Shaughnessy has been a tough card to find in nice shape. Well done.

Porkchops-congratulations! It feels great, doesn't it? Every time I get a new T206 in, I still feel a thrill. Make sure to head over to "What's your Monster number" thread, and join in on the fun.

Well, it's been a slow month or so for me on the pre-war side. I just got this in today, so I've kept the urge to go nuts in check just a little longer.

A big thank you to Frank for this beauty. The Weimer portrait is one of my favorite cards in the set. Just a great picture.

Default 1909 Obak Drummond Brown

This Drummond Brown T212-1 1909 Obak arrived today. I believe I need only one more card to complete the catcher card run in the set.

Admittedly not baseball and I have no idea of how rare it is, but I spotted this on ebay and thought that the upside-down back made it worth the $11. The brand being related to the T206 set made it a nice pickup for me.

Todd,

Pretty rare. I do have one so there must be a sheet out there's worth. Nice pickup for sure at $11 in my opinion.
