Those are great ! I have a Magic Lantern projector but haven't found any good baseball slides for it .

Yep . We talked about this before on here and all I can remember is those who did it said you need a full light source . A scanner might not cut it .

A regular scanner that has templates for 35mm negatives and transparencies (slides) most likely would not work as the light source scans for the width of image. A photographic flat bed scanner would work as the light source is designed to do a full flatbed scan with the negative/slide holders masking the light for the appropriate size, usually up to 4x6. You can also run a flat scan of the whole bed which is done for oversized negatives, usually 8x10 contact negatives. The program used with the scanner allows you to chose the type of medium - grayscale/b&w negative, color negative, color positive.

As one of the other posters allude to, these are called magic lantern slides. I have about a half dozen or so in my archives, all Olympic swimmers and track athletes.
