Uhlman cabinets were done for Sioux City, St Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha. I have included a few examples, including a Sioux City.

Awesome!! Thanks for the info and the pic! I searched all over the place and couldn't find anything. I knew there had to be some on this forum. It seems that the St Paul cabinets are the most common of the Uhlman cabinets (based on what I've seen and the fact that they are in the standard catalogue), is that correct, or are all four similarly scarce?
And WOW, that Kid Nichols is incredible!

Trey--I don't know the answer. I think Sioux City and St Paul are equally scarce and the other two are tougher. However, that is just from memory and not analytically determined. I think old judge proofs are an under appreciated area. Good luck if you decide to collect them.

Thanks Jay. Yes, the research alone is enough to keep me collecting them! I was amazed at the lack of interest and information out there. Such a rich history behind these cards with their ties to the local photography studios that supplied images for such an iconic set!
