I think the Tiffany sets from the years I love (84-86) are gorgeous. Hardcore player collectors really dig them for the gloss and cool backs. I've been dying to find 86 Tiffany Mattingly centered forever. Cool run.

Interesting that the official name does not include Tiffany. It is a nickname.

The box says "Collector's Edition"

I have the set run as well from 1984-1991. If the sets are sealed and the boxes are in decent condition, you are looking at about $2000 in value. I They were not massively produced. Most were limited to 5,000 sets.

I have no idea what the runs were, but assuming the source of the info is Topps, I would not bank on it.

That is true. I believe they were caught red handed fabricating the print run of the 1996 Finest Gold Refractor set.
