THIS ONE OF A KIND GELATIN SILVER BASEBALL TEAM PHOTOGRAPH SIZE 4 3/4" X 6 1/2" IS MOUNTED ON CABINET STYLE BOARD. ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THE BORD ARE THE FOLLOWING NOTATIONS:

"JOPLIN MOSSOURI STATE PENITENTARY(PENITENTIARY) PRISON BASEBALL TEAM 1899 - 1900"
"M. HAGGERTY (PRO - PLAYED) BOSTON TEAM MURDERED A MAN AT BAR FIGHT PICTURED (R) LOWER OF PHOTO".

I am sure he got that from the writing on the back and it is the guards, not prisoners, on the team...is my guess. It's actually a pretty cool photo.

Neat photo.Don't understand how come he didn't post a picture of the back of the photo when he needs/needed help?!
