Beautiful discs Bill. I also got in the mail today a 1946 Monte Cudine Alfredo Di Stefano. Straight from Argentina.
Di Stefano´s rookie card has been widely considered to be a (beautiful) card issued by Detergentes Platin in 1950. In reality, few collectors know that already in 1946 - in his home country Argentina - a disc card of the young Alfredo Di Stefano was issued by Monte Cudine. It is extremely rare to find, especially in an acceptable condition. I have one more for sale / trade if anyone is interested.
