Great thread, really haven't been to very many games, but 2 come to mind.

Most historic game - Cal Ripken 2,131 game (seems like quite a few of us were at this one)

Best game - April 20, 2013 my first game with my 2 boys (9 and 11 at the time) in Pittsburgh to see my Pirates. Even though they lost still a game I will always remember.

Well historic it has to be the only 7 inning save in MLB history. Rangers at Orioles jauquin Benoit got. 7 inning save only one ever. orioles beam Arod in first as pay back for night before starter tries to hit first batter and both teams are warned, tries to hit him with next pitch misses and is ejected. Todd Van Poppel who is supposed to start next night goes 2 innings for the win and Benoit gets a 7 inning save.
Now that is historic! Sad but true!

Default Pete Rose's 3,500th hit

At Shea Stadium. Phillies fan and my brother and I didn't even know it until they showed it on the scoreboard. I scored the game (Trillo hit a line drive home run) and I just recently found my ticket stub!

I think before that game (maybe it was a different game at Shea) they had some pro-softball players hitting home runs into the upper deck. At least that's what I remember as a kid.

Pcoz. I was at that game too. I'm from Pgh as well. Incredible game, incredible energy (for a Pirates game at that time). I was also at the 94 All Star Game in Pgh which was won on a Moises Alou walk off which scored Tomy Gwynn.

Matt Cain perfect game.

I also saw a 3-HR game (Ben Oglivie for Milwaukee at Tiger Stadium), and a cycle (Eric Byrnes for Oakland at then-Pac Bell Park).
