Wow Dave...
That might be the most incredibly unique piece ever posted in the acquisitions thread. Amazing/rare style cap in its own right... not to mention the customized glasses set-up. Oh, and a Hall-of-Fame Player, to boot. Incredible piece.... are there any photos of Hafey actually wearing this ensemble? Wood love to see them, if so!

Chick Hafey
Here are some pics. Still looking for one of him in a Reds uniform with this configuration. The cap is currently on loan/display at the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum.

Wow! Beautiful display and great info, Dave...
Seems like such an an awkward set-up, with the sunglasses resting in front of his regular "spectacles". But it must have worked for him! Thanks for posting the supporting info. Great stuff... amazing that it somehow survivied
