That Seamless Steel Ty Cobb is my favorite postcard of all time. Something about the pose just perfectly represents everything Cobb was. Amazing PC!!

I've always thought & heard/read the "Cobb fielding" was kind of rare, but the signed "Cobb Fielding"... that's not easy to find. I like that one.

The Bell is from the 30's but I don't know what specific year. The Yawkey is from 1959 I believe. |

Captioned "Alpha Sigma Phi Base Ball Team" and mailed from Lincoln Nebraska in 1915. Guess there aren't any future major leaguers ( Cornhusker Major Leaguers ).
Back is printed upside down, so I left it that way in the photo. ;-) Pretty common with real photo printed postcards from this era. |
