They do allow a variety of faults as taken into account when figuring the grade.
I do think they went too easy on this one. I had one T206 that I've had since around 81/82 that looks really good and came back a 40. When I asked at the Shriners show they showed me the very light erasure on the back. I hadn't noticed it in the 30+ years I've owned it. The same for the other very nice one that was a 50. Just a tiny crease on one border. One that's hard to see without a magnifier. The guy I spoke to said the grade was a cumulative grade so 2-3 tiny faults could make the difference between 80 and 50. I felt a lot more confident in the grades after the explanations and being shown the small faults. I do also think that some of the cards I've seen recently have gotten rather lenient grades.
