Richard,
I heard you were going in for "a procedure" but I had no idea it was so serious! I just read the thread from the start--the first few pages were real nail-biters--and I am so relieved to hear how well you've progressed. Another friend had thyroid cancer a few years ago, and he's doing very well; it hasn't slowed him down at all after recovery from the surgery. I'm glad to hear that you're doing well, too. My tardy thoughts are with you and your family. Steve
