Lots of great albums mentioned, but there are two that I must have on my list:

Bruce Springsteen - "Born to Run". Not a bad song on the album. Rock/poetry/storytelling all wrapped up in one incredible album.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Pronounced". Ok, I am from the South, but ya gotta show some love for "Freebird". In the mid-70s, NO ONE wanted to follow the band on stage. They absolutely blew people away.
