Tim,
Yes, the door is hinged, so it's easy to switch out. This is a cheaply made one I bought off eBay about 6 years ago. I have some Penzoni cases that have the same design, with better quality.

Call me paranoid, but mine are 'displayed' in fire-proof safes.

I don't have to many, but I keep my in a vintage dental instrument file cabinet. It has thin drawers so I just display a few cards in each drawer. It's cool to pull open and see my collection.

Default I like to see my cards

and with no wall space partly because I have chosen to frame a few albums to view the cards/art - I had to settle on shelves. Here are a couple of them.
Great dental cabinet. Always wanted one but already have no money for more cards :-) Also a pic of how the old companies used to display their cards......

I also like to keep my eyes out for vintage cabinets / boxes to house cards.

shown these before, but figured I'd contribute to the thread:

I like that idea it keeps them out of the direct light. You should try these top loaders for your tobacco cards

I have a bunch of those tobacco sized top loaders, Just like they way the cards look free and closely spaced.

Bill Brown,

I love how you have displayed your T206 collection by sub-collections! HoFers, Southern Leaguers, even the Horizontals!! Loved it. I did that with my HoFers, but a case of my SLs would be pretty sparce so far (7 of 48).

Definitly not paranoid as I own a fire proof safe as well. I can take it one step further as I have a sprinkler system installed in my house. When I bought the house, there was some rule that said new homes need a sprinkler system. Needless to say, that rule lasted a year. Im glad I have it though as it brings some peace of mind.
