Here is one of my displays. A set of 205s. It has been hanging on the wall for about ten years. Absolutely no outside light and low humidity

Matty, that's an awesome display. Even see a part of Mathewson's Big 6 game.

i like what i have seen so far and encourages me to get some art projects started this year.
Brent - i like your detroit collection and framed case. is it made so it's easy to swap graded cards out? Steven - i have that dream for a man cave (but would need to be a loft or spare bedroom since no basements in Texas) and like how you matted the cards inside a frame for display like photographs or art. I'm thinking of doing something along those lines for each team set of T205s and a little over the top for the detroit tigers (home town team) Matty39 - wicked how you have the t205 set and hope to join the club in 10-12 years! seeing you guys hanging these cards makes me feel more comfortable and seems normal to do so. Thanks and hope to see more folks post a pic of what they do. Tim |

Tim, Yes, the door is hinged, so it's easy to switch out. This is a cheaply made one I bought off eBay about 6 years ago. I have some Penzoni cases that have the same design, with better quality.

Call me paranoid, but mine are 'displayed' in fire-proof safes.

I don't have to many, but I keep my in a vintage dental instrument file cabinet. It has thin drawers so I just display a few cards in each drawer. It's cool to pull open and see my collection.

and with no wall space partly because I have chosen to frame a few albums to view the cards/art - I had to settle on shelves. Here are a couple of them.
Great dental cabinet. Always wanted one but already have no money for more cards :-) Also a pic of how the old companies used to display their cards...... |

I like that idea it keeps them out of the direct light. You should try these top loaders for your tobacco cards

Definitly not paranoid as I own a fire proof safe as well. I can take it one step further as I have a sprinkler system installed in my house. When I bought the house, there was some rule that said new homes need a sprinkler system. Needless to say, that rule lasted a year. Im glad I have it though as it brings some peace of mind.

Those look great Charlie. It's hard to visually beat a nice display of T206's like yours.

To say some of your setups is inspiring would be an understatement! I have very few, but I am in love with them. Here they are in cubbies:
![]() These are now in a similar setup, even with a similar tin, and most all of the cards in the set can now be seen. ![]() Truth be told, the tins aren't what they came in, but they were the same time period, so until I find "proper" boxes to display with them, these should do. Heck, kids back then would have used these tins to store their cards, right? ![]()

Ever since SGC changed their label to giant font size lettering it's made me not want to pick up any new T206s for my display because it ruins the uniformity...come on SGC reduce the font size, it looks comical.
