It really is a beautiful piece, but it presents me with a couple of problems:
I'm only interested in two cards [Dihigo and Brown], but I want them as cards. How would I best remove them? Furthermore, could I remove them without severely damaging/ruining the album? The album is, afterall, what makes this such a beautiful piece, and I wouldn't ruin it just to get the two cards. I wonder if the cards could be steamed off with an iron [with a buffer of paper or a handkerchief in between], as was done with stamps in the old days. If anyone with expertise in this matter would chip in, I [and perhaps many other collectors who share an interest in preserving art] would appreciate it. Thanks. Doug |
