One of the most exciting pickups ever for me. The front is just a whatever W573 strip card but the back is an amazing advertisement for Café Du Monde in New Orleans. Thanks to Leon for parting with it and giving me his very special " I don't want to sell " price.

Finally, my first T-206!! Yeah, it needs a good soaking and there's all sorts of paper loss on the back, but I got it for a ten spot, so I'm not complaining.

Wow, some beautiful adds in this thread I really enjoyed looking at all the new adds over coffee this morning. Thank you to everyone that posted!!

May/June have been a good Old Judge months for my collection, and July is lining up for more OJs. Will post the added OJs next week. We added a nice '33Goudey Ruth to our family collection this week in a private sale.

Congratulations, Darren! Welcome to the club. Make sure to let Frank know you now have a monster number.

I figured I'd have to pay high or buy low on this one, I picked the latter

A crack-out, but I kept flip for a walk down SGC memory lane.

Sweet Goudey Ruth Bill and congrats on your first Ruth Dan!

Couldn't help sniping at this Cobby/Jennings. I'll never get sick of this card (may truly be my favorite) and find myself interested in and watching every one that pops up for auction. I think I may be at serious risk to begin hoarding.

Ian, if you need more funds to support your hoarding habit, I know a guy who would buy your Wagner

Posted this in another thread, but thought it should go here as well. 1934 Butterfinger Lou Gehrig. Got to love the condition of the base he's standing on.

My very first Gehrig of any kind. Got it from a guy who has about half the set in similar condition. I grabbed this first and may go back for the rest. I just can't decide if it's worth it to work on this set. It seems to get the short straw amongst collectors since they aren't "Cards" in the purest form.

So I'm still not sure if this will stay in my collection or not.
