I would venture to say that this "curved gap" printing phenomena is unique to the Killian (portrait) card.
I went thru my T206 Piedmont set (519 different cards). Plus, an additional assortment of 112 Piedmont cards (from the three Series) and no such printer's gap is evident on any of these cards. Incidently, my Killian does not have it. TED Z . Last edited by tedzan; 06-20-2014 at 10:28 AM. |

Thanks for taking the time to peruse your cards for the gap. It may well be a Killian-only phenomenon. On the other hand, I can imagine the gap being found on the backs of other subjects that occupied the same column and row as Killian on other T206 sheets. Scot |

Scott, I haven't found a match to the Killian but I did find a Brain and Ganzel
that look like they were in the same position on different sheets. They both have the same mark that looks like a funky tilde plus are missing ink in the same places. So there is a chance that there is another player with the same mark as your Killian. |

If it was a hair it may have been longer than you see. Maybe it went over to the "t" in Piedmont on the next card.
